Its detailed Charred Oak campfire-style log set looks like real stacked wood, while a Vertical Aspect glass enclosure panel provides an excellent view as well as airtight protection. An energy-efficient burn rate emerges from the 25,000 to 30,000 BTUs of power. The Superior ELDV installs easily for many reasons. First, it uses the Secure Vent™ 4.5/7.5 chimney system. Second, it has a patented remotely adjustable burner air shutter that shortens set-up times and allows the fire appearance to be “dialed-in” during installation. Finally, electronic models can be power vented up to 110 feet and (6) 90° elbows provide the most in installation flexibility. Electronic units can also turn on and work during power failures because of their adjustable flame, Dexan battery back-up intermittent ignition systems.
